2017 Event in Trinidad and Tobago

Image
On March 3, 2017, we held a Friday night preaching service in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. We had a pretty good turnout due to our local listeners promoting the event and bringing a lot of visitors. The next day a group of us went out soulwinning for a few hours, and we found it to be about average with regard to how receptive it was. It was pretty similar to going soulwinning in the United States.  It's possible that getting away from Port of Spain and going soulwinning in the more remote parts of the island may be more receptive.

Missions in Guyana Over the Years

I personally made a total of 4 missions trips to Guyana, and it was always very receptive. I believe our most recent trip there was in August 2019.  Pastor Anderson March 2, 2017: "3 days in Guyana: we preached to over 3,000 students in 7 different schools, we won 126 people to the Lord through personal soul-winning, and we distributed about 5,000 DVDs. Tomorrow we head for Trinidad, but 3 members of our team will still be in Guyana, and they are lined up to preach in 4 more schools and distribute about 2,000 more DVDs." August 20, 2019: "159 Salvations from two days of soulwinning in Guyana from the crew."

2018 Missions Trip to Aruba

Image
Back in September 2018, we did a big missions trip to Aruba. I had gone there previously with my son to scope things out, and we had found it to be pretty receptive. The Spanish-speakers (mainly illegal immigrants from Venezuela) were the most receptive, so we brought as many Spanish-speaking soul-winners as possible. Almost everyone else on the island spoke good English, but occasionally we ran into people who only spoke Dutch or Papiamento. I don't remember exactly how many total salvations there were for the trip, but I think it was around 400-500.  Pastor Anderson
